Description:

The fund adopts a value-based investment approach and invests in stocks which are trading at a discount to its intrinsic value especially when compared to peers. The approach would be bottom up stock picking.

Suitability:

This product is suitable for investors who are seeking capital appreciation by investing in a well diversified portfolio of stocks through fundamental analysis.

Fund Features
  • Invest in Companies at inflection points - when their balance sheets are stressed out but on the verge of a revival. Triggers for identification of potential companies that qualify as ‘value investments’ – cyclical sectoral recovery, management & business restructuring, financial restructuring
  • Potential for high returns for investors who understand the inherent risks of investing in a Value strategy and have a longer investment time horizon
  • Irrespective of market cycles, there would always be stocks which are trading below their intrinsic value due to various reasons. Hence this fund is ideal across cycles to invest into.
  • Allocation to a value strategy complements an investor’s diversified portfolio.
